Celebrating new makers and old - a shop and community space in Durham selling high quality goods
created in the North of England, honouring craft as art and slow industry. A multi-faceted business,
our space not only houses a workshop/studio space for local creatives to hire out but
offers a bi-weekly rostrum of workshops to celebrate the makers we sell in store and online. There's also a café space to encourage people in to browse/sit/chat.
Our inhouse design studio produces a collection of printed
textiles/homeware for sale in store: wallpaper, cushions, lampshades. With desk space
available to hire out at a minimum cost/day to work/design out of this space to help develop and
build a creative community in the heart of Durham.
