Meet Katharine Tyrrell-Lewis, founder of Ceramics by Kat 

Based in Yorkshire, Kat creates beautiful, functional stoneware pottery that’s all about bringing joy to everyday rituals — think your morning coffee, but happier 
Whilst studying Fine Art and Art History at Newcastle University, Kat discovered pottery as a hobby. Her passion quickly grew, leading her to not only sell her distinctive ceramic pieces but also teach wheel throwing. 

Inspired by the countryside and infused with colour, each piece she makes is totally unique and handmade with care. We love how her work turns the ordinary into something special
