Meet the Makers | Folly and Bird

Based in Newcastle, Fiona McKeown is the creative force behind Folly & Bird. Originally trained as a Garden Designer, Fiona has since become a talented paper artist, sculpting intricate flowers and foliage from natural materials and paper. Her work beautifully captures the essence of the natural world.

We love how Fiona is inspired by her local landscape and how her creations often reflect the native flora of the North East. Each paper flower she crafts is a delicate detailed work of art

In addition to her paper art, Fiona also works as a Florist,  blending her handmade paper creations with fresh and dried flowers to create one of a kind bouquets and installations.
