Our Story

Celebrating Craft, Community, and Creativity
Located in the heart of Durham, our shop and community space champions the work of new and established makers from across the North of
England. We honour craft as art and celebrate the beauty of slow, thoughtful production through a curated selection of high-quality goods
available in-store and online. The in-house design studio, led by co-founder Bethany Malyan, will produce a collection of printed homewares for
sale in store: wallpaper, cushions, lampshades.

More than a shop, we are a hub for creativity:

A studio and workshop space available for local artists and makers to hire.
A weekly programme of workshops, led by the very craftspeople we showcase, inviting the community to learn, create, and connect.
A welcoming café, designed to draw people in—to browse, sit, chat, and be inspired.
